Mother’s Hat

Right next to the castle church you see one of the corner towers called Mors Mössa or Mother’s hat. It has also been called the church tower most likely because of its proximity to the castle church. The tower consists of 3 floors with gunpowder vaults at the bottom and a cannon floor at the top under the roof. On the western outside of the tower, there is still a cannonball stuck in the wall from one of the many sieges.
