Here in the corner of the courtyard are the remains of what in the 17th century was a castle church or castle chapel. The building was built in 1610, but the remains of older masonry at the bottom show that it only replaced a previous building.

It must have been a fairly small church, but despite that it can accommodate about 400 people! The reason for this is that there are no benches. The visitors stand during the services, which would sometimes last for several hours. If, on the other hand, you belong to one of the nicer guests, there is also a grandstand to sit on.
